Edgerton's Hybrid HapKiDo will be hosting for the Wisconsin HapKiDo Conference this year at Paik's Martial Arts (Monona). Slate is posted in the event -- cost is $20 to attend, with any surplus not covering building costs going to DAIS. We will have presentations on both combat and teaching methodologies, technical approaches to weapons work, and some combative applications for joint locks. Event will run from 9-5 with breaks -- there's really no cheaper seminar available.

USHF is our parent organization, and if you want to learn more about HapKiDo there is no better way than through this seminar. At $50 for 8 hours of instruction, you can't beat the price either. You will get some top-tier instructors and quality presentations for your time. This year's spring seminar will be held at Lucas Martial Arts in Bedford, IN, from 9-5 on 2024APR13 -- expect a drive if you go. If you are planning to attend, please coordinate with me so I can get you connected with Gentry Martial Arts or another instructor we know well. I will not personally be able to attend.

Rick Faye is an excellent instructor from whom I always learn a lot, and MKG Madison is our only line of succession within the area. This will be a two-day seminar Saturday and Sunday -- I will unfortunately not be able to attend. Please bring notepaper, water, sticks if you have them, and exercise clothes if you attend -- as always be respectful and accept the incoming information as a learning student. You will get a fantastic set of new drills and concepts out of working with this group -- if you can make it, I highly recommend it.

Dan Inosanto is a living legend in the martial arts community, and given the amount of influence from JKD and Kali on our current programming, I would highly recommend you attend. I'm not going to be able to make this one, but if you have not trained with Dan yet, this is a great opportunity. This event is hosted at MKG Minnesota and will be a $295 weekend ticket, so it is a hefty investment. However, the amount of material available is fantastic, and you will definitely get your money's worth.
