Currently, we use Google Analytics for tracking our domain. Recent GPDR complaints are now blocking US cloud service connections in the EU, penalizing companies for using them. This complicates our cloud posture (even more than it already was).
In general, while we strongly support GPDR initiatives, we still need to work on our GPDR compliance. We still need an app to let users download their GPDR data, and we need to review our cloud usage for compliance.
We could implement Ackee to take over the work being done by Google Analytics, or we could find a better way to process the logs in AniNIX/Sharingan.
Given the issues caused by MongoDB in DarkFeather/MSN0#6 , I'm disinclined to add a new product to the ecosystem that depends on that tool.
I think we'll go the route of filing logs from the webserver into Graylog & making dashboards there.
